When it comes to partaking in cannabis there are lots of different types of THC lovers. There is no shame in which category you fall under, but there is quite the difference between the girl who loves to take big dabs from her Quave, and the guy who just loads his one hitter dugout now and again. From resin to kief, there really is a pretty large spectrum at this point. One company that has given themselves the image of representing the most lavish and luxurious smoking occasions, is Shine Papers. I love this company, this is our third article about them because they are consistently trying to create and improve ideas. While they were originally known just for their expensive papers that are coated in 24K gold, they’ve become a staple in the industry for both woven and tattooed blunts as well. Shine is revisiting their roots with their newest product by coming out with the first ever white gold covered rolling papers.
The idea might seem obvious to those who know how successful the 24K gold papers have already been since their release. That’s why it is no surprise that Shine’s Website currently shows that they are all sold out of this exciting new product. I was lucky enough to get a two pack before they completely ran out. These new papers are extremely similar to the original papers, both in price and presentation. They’re also both covered in edible gold and edible silver, but if you’ve smoked one of these before you know that most of that gold ends up in your ashtray anyways. Perhaps Shine didn’t know how successful these papers would be, but their 2016 release has gone very well. However they currently only offer the papers in packs of two for $20 bucks. At $10 a paper, you’ll probably be smoking a paper that’s more expensive than the product you pack it with. Smoking one of these bad boys is a treat. Not only do you get that high class feeling, similar to being bumped up to first class on an airplane, but it’s intriguing to watch the gold burn.
Then on top of all of that, these papers make you so excited to smoke them that you almost can’t resist taking a picture and sending it to all of your friends.
One thing that Shine papers has mastered, is their advertising and image. Not only do they team up with celebrities like Tyga and Lil Dicky, but they also have become a staple of giant weed festivals. Typically there is at least one epicly gigantic blunt that has been expertly rolled into the shape of a guitar, microphone, or something similar, and as of late these blunts have been largely made with Shine Gold Papers to add to the aesthetic. Then on top of all of that, these papers make you so excited to smoke them that you almost can’t resist taking a picture and sending it to all of your friends. Or even better yet for Shine papers, lots of people have taken to the internet to show off their luxurious smoking sessions with the hashtag #shine. You can’t pay for that kind of advertising. Although I stand by what I said before, that there is a huge spectrum of cannabis users, I encourage anyone that gets the opportunity to treat themselves to at least one gold covered joint in their life. Especially if you save them for special occasions like I always do. I promise you’ll enjoy it.
