Every cannabis strain will harvest at different times of the year. THC University has made a very cool interactive graph that shows you the optimum time of year when you should harvest certain strains. Keep in mine this is all relative, lots of factors are in play. If you have experiences and thoughts share them! More data the better.
Cannabis plants like Durban Poison, Jack Herer, and Mighty Mike will harvest mid to late September with a heavy harvest and less smell.
Hash Plant, Hindu Kush, Afghani, all harvest around late August. The yields are high, and so is the smell. Early Pearl, Early Riser, Manitoba Poison will harvest lat August as well, sometimes early September, and these strained tend to be mold resistant, easy to grow, great for novices.
Cannabis strains like Blueberry, White Widow, Super Silver Haze, Powerplant will harvest mid to late October. These plants can get very large, and have high yields. Some of these strains are at higher risk of mold and infections.
Skunk #1, Northern Lights #5, Big Bud and pure sativas will tend to harvest mid to late October and sometimes up into early November. These plants all tend to grow extremely large, and/or tall.
